About the Big Pitch

In December 2007 Moxie Makers began the search for the hottest new filmmaking talent of the future.

The selected projects have developed over the course of the year as they've competed for the largest feature film production prize in the UK.

The prize - production finance from Moxie Makers for their film (a minimum of £150,000) together with a post-production deal with Molinare, guaranteed UK distribution with Soda Makers and international sales representation with Moxiehouse Entertainment. The film will receive its red-carpet Gala Premiere as part of the Northern Lights Film Festival in 2009.

The best part? You decide who wins.

How you can vote

Register on The Big Pitch website and you can vote for which film you want to see on the big screen.

The voting window will open at midday on November 19th and be open until the start of the live final on December 6th. For more information about the voting process please look at our voting rules here. 

The votes will be counted and the winner announced at the awards ceremony on December 6th.

Why register now?

Register on The Big Pitch website between October 31st and November 28th and you will automatically be entered into a free prize draw for two tickets to The Big Pitch Final on December 6th. Moxie Makers will provide the lucky winner with accommodation and travel from anywhere in the UK.

Additionally, the moment you register you will be added to The Big Pitch mailing list. Don't worry, we won't bombard you with e-mails or pass your details on to anyone else. We will send you the occasional e-mail keeping you up to date with everything Big Pitch related and we'll certainly remind you when the voting window opens and closes. So what are you waiting for?
