Different Shades of Graham - The Big Pitch Winners

On Saturday December 6th in front of a live voting audience the four finalists pitched to win the largest production prize in the UK. All four teams entertained the voting audience in a 2 hour show full of thrills.

After the live audience votes and online votes were collated it was announced that there were literally just a few votes separating first and second place. Second place went to Derek Boyes' neo-noir thriller Blackout but the winners of The Big Pitch 08/09 with their psychological thriller Different Shades of Graham are Keith Lynch, David Lynch, Brad Watson and Simon Thomas.

Different Shades of Graham will be produced during 2009 and premiere at the Northern Lights Film Festival 2009. 

Congratulations to Different Shades of Graham, commiserations to the three finalists and thank you to everyone who voted and made this competition so exciting.

Competition Winner Announced

Everyone who registered before November 28th was entered into a prize draw to win tickets for The Big Pitch Final. The exciting draw was held here at Moxie Towers and Wema Qayoumi of Essex was pulled out of the hat.

Wema will be at The Big Pitch Final and voting for her favourite project.

Hello to all you new visitors (especially those of you joining us from imdb.com) and welcome to The Big Pitch website. Voting opens at 12pm (UK Time) tomorrow, Wednesday 19th November.

To vote for your favourite film all you need to do is register in that little box on the right and then have a look at the teams' blogs. They tell you all about their projects and the filmmakers involved.

Have a look around the site and if you register I'll send you a reminder to come and vote when the window opens. Oh, and just by registering you'll be entered into a free prize draw for tickets, travel and accommodation for The Big Pitch final (UK registrants only).

How do I vote?

It's the question a lot of you have been asking. All you have to do is register in that little box on the right and you can vote for which film you want to see on the big screen.

The voting window will open at midday on November 19th and be open until the start of the live final on December 6th. For more information about the voting process please look at our voting rules here. 

The votes will be counted and the winner announced at the awards ceremony on December 6th.

Register between October 31st and November 28th and you will automatically be entered into a free prize draw for two tickets to The Big Pitch Final on December 6th. Moxie Makers will provide the lucky winner with accommodation and travel from anywhere in the UK.

Additionally, the moment you register you will be added to The Big Pitch mailing list. Don't worry, we won't bombard you with e-mails or pass your details on to anyone else. We will send you the occasional e-mail keeping you up to date with everything Big Pitch related and we'll certainly remind you when the voting window opens and closes. So what are you waiting for?
